Valley Lake Estate - Niddrie

The Valley Lake Estate in Niddrie provided a challenging engineering project to rehabilitate disused quarry site into a prime residential development. Works included relocation, processing placement and compaction of 2,500,000 cubic meters of stockpiled overburden and the profiling of the fill to provide a suitable surface for construction of a lake, wetlands roads and other services for a 400 lot residential estate.

Botanic Ridge - Cranbourne

Breese Pitt Dixon commenced this development over 5 years ago as a project that allowed 1500 residential allotments. Since that time, a large portion of the property has been sold off to Medallist, and Breese Pitt Dixon has produced the estate planning and urban design of the site’s southern section. When complete, the 17 stage development will produce 950 house sites.

Koolamara - Ferntree Gully

Located at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, the $20 million Koolamara Waters estate features 14.2 hectares of parkland and wetlands which have been designed and excavated in conjunction with Melbourne Water and the Australian Platypus Conservancy. As Platypus naturally inhabit the Monbulk Creek, this system of lakes and ponds was the obvious solution as a new home for the platypus to repopulate the creek.

Pentridge Piazza - Pentridge Piazza

BPD is proud to be involved with this ground breaking development situated within the austere bluestone walls of Pentridge Prison. Encompassing 8ha, a subdivision of this scope and nature has never been attempted within Victoria. With a vibrant European style piazza and generous open space, this is sure to become an icon within the inner city suburbs.
